You may not be aware, but our Mission at Policy and Taxation Group has expanded in 2023. We’re sending this message to you to make you’re aware of this important change, in case you did not know.

The Mission of Policy and Taxation Group

Since 1995, PATG has been the leading advocacy group working to reduce and eliminate estate tax, gift tax, and generation skipping transfer tax. But in 2023 we realized that family offices and successful individuals were under attack, with the possibility of changes in tax and economic policy that would significantly harm them and families.

So, the Mission of Policy and Taxation Group now includes ALL TAX AND ECONOMIC ISSUES AFFECTING FAMILY OFFICES AND SUCCESSFUL INDIVIDUALS.

In addition to other polices, Policy and Taxation Group is blocking increased income tax and capital gains taxes, the creation of a wealth tax, and other hostile tax policies that punish hardworking taxpayers and success.

Policy and Taxation Group is the Voice for Family Offices and Successful Individuals in Washington, D.C., focused exclusively on the critical tax and economic policies that impact them.

The Importance of Our Combined Missions

Each year our two organizations, Family Enterprise USA and Policy and Taxation Group, take on the task of advocating in Washington, D.C., on behalf of family businesses, successful individuals, and family offices.

Each organization has a specific mission and advocates for different audiences in different ways.

Family Enterprise USA is focused on family businesses of all sizes and in all industries. Its mission is to educate legislators on Capitol Hill on the importance of family businesses to our economy.

Policy and Taxation Group’s mission is to lobby and advocate on Capitol Hill for family offices and successful individuals, both important engines that create jobs and drive economic growth.

With your help, our two organization are making significant gains in helping to create better economic and tax policies benefitting family businesses, successful individuals, and family offices, and calling out, and stopping, policies that can cause harm.

We thank you for your support in 2024 and look forward to your continued support in 2025.
